This is a dynamic, high-impact role for a "Working Supervisor" who will split time between high-level coordination and frontline team management. You will oversee our entire inbound/outbound workflow, manage inventory control, and lead a dedicated team to meet strict customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Operations Supervision System Oversight:

Manage daily warehouse operations and logistics systems to ensure a seamless workflow.

Cross-Department Synergy:

Coordinate the distribution process closely with other departments to align with overall business goals.

Process Innovation:

Identify bottlenecks and develop strategic improvements for inventory, distribution, and warehouse programs.

Team Communication:

Direct regular staff meetings to align the team on company strategy, set daily goals, and resolve operational issues.

Receiving & Inventory Control Team Training:

Supervise and train personnel on proper, documented procedures for receiving and putting away all inbound products.

Inventory Accuracy:

Supervise inventory reporting, regular cycle counting, and the reconciliation process using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Quality Assurance:

Maintain strict quality standards for receipt and put-away transactions; investigate receiving errors and inventory adjustments to find the root cause.

Meticulous Record-Keeping:

Maintain precise logs for all inbound receipts, non-conforming products, damaged shipments, or purchase order discrepancies.

Outbound Shipping Order Management:

Manage outbound shipping orders and strategically assign daily duties to ensure all customer commitments are met on time.

Workflow Optimization:

Develop, implement, and maintain highly effective outbound shipping processes.

Tech Execution:

Utilize a strong working knowledge of RF scanning equipment and RF warehouse processes.

Carrier Relations:

Partner directly with trucking companies and freight carriers to coordinate shipments and ensure accurate freight billing.

Requirement Description:

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in Shipping and Receiving management, including direct management of staff. (Required) Ability to drive a forklift (Required)

Carrier Expertise:

Prior hands-on experience working directly with UPS and FedEx. (Required)

Technical Skills:

Proficient in maintaining inventory accuracy using a WMS and managing standard RF scanning processes.

Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for leading staff meetings and coordinating with external carriers.

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
