Must have schedule flexibility based on operational needs About the Role We're looking for an experienced Cross Dock Manager to lead our cross-dock operations in a fast-paced distribution center. This position is responsible for overseeing the Cross-Dock Department, Shipping & Receiving, and warehouse office staff while driving operational excellence, employee engagement, safety, and customer satisfaction. What You'll Do Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Cross-Dock Department, Shipping & Receiving, and warehouse office staff. Schedule employee shifts, breaks, vacations, and assign daily workloads to ensure efficient operations. Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members while supporting their professional development. Partner with warehouse supervisors to ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed. Investigate customer concerns and shipping discrepancies, implementing timely and effective resolutions. Maintain sanitation, safety, and housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse and cross-dock operations. Ensure compliance with trailer seal procedures and company security policies. Monitor productivity and quality metrics while identifying opportunities for process improvements. Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment. Support other warehouse departments as business needs require. Maintain flexibility to work any shift based on operational requirements. What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of warehouse supervisory or management experience , preferably in a wholesale or distribution environment. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows applications. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to lead a diverse workforce in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications College coursework in Business, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field. Experience in wholesale distribution or cross-dock operations. Physical Requirements Lift up to 10 pounds. Sit for extended periods while using a computer. Climb stairs as needed. Work in a warehouse/distribution center environment with varying temperatures.
