Job Description
Warehouse Associate Job Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Lead where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouses. As a Warehouse Lead, you may be responsible for various tasks related to inventory control, forklift operation, warehouse management, packaging, pallet jack usage, order picking, training, reporting, and promoting a safe and positive work environment.Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Oversee warehouse management tasks to maintain organization and cleanliness
- Handle packaging duties according to specified guidelines
- Utilize pallet jacks for moving materials within the warehouse
- Perform order picking accurately and in a timely manner
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
Preferred Experience:
- Proven experience in inventory control within a warehouse setting
- Proficiency in forklift operation and other heavy equipment handling
- Familiarity with warehouse management practices
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively
- Experience in packaging materials following set standards
- Competence in using pallet jacks for material transportation
- Skill in fabricating materials based on requirements
- Knowledge of order picking procedures and accuracy standards
