WMS Systems Specialist (Distribution Center) This role will start in Tigard, OR and transition to our new Woodland, WA distribution center upon its opening around Q1-2027. Position Summary The WMS Systems Specialist serves as the on-site subject matter expert for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and supports warehouse technologies. This is a hands-on, floor-oriented role that partners closely with Operations to ensure effective system utilization, data accuracy, and consistent execution across inbound, inventory, replenishment, picking, and outbound processes. Reporting to the Director of Logistics, this role acts as a key bridge between Operations, IT, and external vendors, supporting reliable system performance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced distribution environment. Key Responsibilities Partner with Operations to support WMS systems enhancements to inbound, inventory, replenishment, picking, and shipping workflows Troubleshoot WMS workflows and warehouse technologies (RF devices, scanners, printers, labeling systems) Perform root cause analysis and support resolution of recurring system or process issues Serve as the primary point of contact for WMS-related operational support on the warehouse floor Monitor system usage, transaction flow, and inventory accuracy to ensure reliable execution Utilize SQL and reporting tools to validate data, reconcile discrepancies, and support decision-making Partner with IT and vendors on system integrations, upgrades, testing (UAT), and enhancements Train employees on WMS processes and develop SOPs to ensure consistent system usage Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean practices and data-driven insights Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3-5+ years of experience supporting a Warehouse Management System in a distribution or logistics environment Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse operations Working knowledge of SQL or Python to support configuration, reporting, and data troubleshooting within a low-code WMS environment Experience supporting system testing, implementations, or operational deployments Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to prioritize and support real-time operational needs in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
