Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shipping Lead to oversee and coordinate all shipping, receiving, and warehouse distribution activities within our dynamic distribution center. This role is vital in ensuring smooth warehouse operations, process efficiency, and accurate inventory control. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and a passion for process improvement to support our team's success. Duties Lead daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance on material handling, forklift operation, and safety protocols Oversee inventory management systems to maintain precise stock levels and facilitate efficient order fulfillment Implement process improvements using lean management principles to optimize warehouse workflows Operate or oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety regulations across all warehouse activities Coordinate with logistics teams to streamline distribution center operations and improve overall efficiency Coordinates with other business functions such as production, sales, customer service, and engineering. Assists with ensuring finished goods inventory accuracy, periodic physical counts. Strives for excellence in quality, safety, inventory accuracy, housekeeping, and productivity within the shipping department. Works with contract carrier to ensure on time deliveries. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. Supervises other shipping personnel assign duties as needed. Knowledge of DOT compliance; Class A license is helpful but not necessary. Comply with all Company & Federal regulations as they pertain to Department of Transportation rules and regulations. Skills Proven ability to lead teams effectively with strong managerial communication skills Skilled in process improvement methodologies like lean management to enhance operational performance Hands-on experience with forklift operation, heavy lifting, and materials handling equipment Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, OSHA safety standards, and materials handling best practices Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage warehouse supervisor responsibilities and foster team collaboration Join us as a Shipping Lead to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment! Pay:

$18.50 - $25.00 per hour
