Job Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the Mount-It! warehouse, overseeing shipping and receiving activities, inventory management, and team performance. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety across all warehouse functions while ensuring all processes align with company standards. The Warehouse Supervisor has strong organizational and communication skills as well as a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Monitor employee productivity and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure standards are met or exceeded. Measure and report on operational KPIs and the effectiveness of warehousing activities, recommending improvements as needed. Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas to promote accuracy, accessibility, and safety. Adjust daily staffing levels based on workload and operational priorities, ensuring adequate coverage throughout the day. Provide continuous coaching and feedback to warehouse staff to promote skill development, accountability, and team morale. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and safety in warehouse operations. Ensure all shipping and receiving activities are completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures. Enforce safety protocols and lead periodic safety trainings to maintain a clean, hazard-free working environment. Conduct daily inspections of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and maintain inspection records. Use warehouse management software (WMS), order management systems, and Microsoft Office applications to track inventory, orders, and operational metrics. Serve as the point of contact for resolving operational challenges and communicating updates between warehouse personnel and leadership. Lead by example with a hands-on approach and personal accountability to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and correctly. Assist with Amazon FBA operations as needed, including order prep, inventory planning, and compliance.
