Overview Ayers Furniture is looking for a positive, motivated, and hardworking Delivery & Warehouse Team Lead to join our team in Ridgeway, Wisconsin. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and enjoys working with and supporting a team. This is a hands-on leadership position that plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining accurate inventory, and keeping our store and warehouse running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, excellent teamwork and leadership skills, and a customer-first mindset to everything they do. This role requires the ability to safely lift and move heavy furniture on a regular basis. Previous experience driving box trucks is preferred, along with a willingness to learn and take on the responsibilities needed to help the delivery and warehouse team succeed. Key Responsibilities Deliver furniture to customers' homes in a professional and courteous manner Safely load, unload, and move heavy furniture (sofas, recliners, bedroom sets, etc.) Assist with staging and maintaining the showroom floor Receive, check in, and organize incoming furniture shipments Ensure inventory accuracy in the warehouse and on the sales floor Perform basic furniture repairs, inspections, and problem-solving as needed Help maintain the store property and warehouse, including general upkeep and organization Work closely with team members to ensure efficient daily operations Other duties as needed to support the store and delivery team Qualifications & Skills Ability to lift and maneuver heavy furniture safely Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Professional attitude and customer-focused mindset Experience driving box trucks preferred, but on-site training is available Valid driver's license and clean driving record Basic mechanical or repair skills are a plus, but not required What We Offer Competitive pay (based on experience) On-the-job training Steady, year-round work Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow within a locally owned business Schedule Full-time position Daytime hours (schedule discussed during interview) How to Apply Apply through Indeed or stop by Ayers Furniture in Ridgeway, WI to complete an application.
