• The Material Handler executes a wide range of material movement activities, including receiving, put away, picking, staging, and shipping within a medical device production and warehouse environment.

In this role, you process inbound and outbound materials on the dock and in warehouse storage locations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuity of workflow. You adhere strictly to safety protocols, operate material handling equipment proficiently, and maintain accurate inventory records while supporting cross-functional teams and multiple shifts.

• Responsibilities
• + Receive inbound materials on the dock and in warehouse storage locations, verifying quantities, documentation, and product condition.

+ Perform put away, picking, staging, and shipping activities to support production and distribution operations.

+ Serve as a key liaison across cross-functional teams and shifts, providing timely communication and updates to ensure alignment on priorities.

+ Manage issue resolution and exception handling to minimize operational delays and maintain workflow continuity.

+ Coordinate shipment planning, truck scheduling, and material flow to support efficient and on-time warehouse operations.

+ Perform administrative tasks related to documentation, reporting, and compliance, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness.

+ Support the release and allocation of outbound orders within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) so orders are processed efficiently and correctly.

+ Use RF scanners to document material movements and ensure items are processed accurately throughout the warehouse.

+ Operate electric-powered material handling equipment, including forklifts and related devices, in a safe and efficient manner.

+ Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control activities as needed.

+ Use computer systems for data entry, tracking, and reporting of material transactions.

+ Communicate effectively with team members and other departments while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

+ Apply solid mathematical and problem-solving abilities to resolve discrepancies and support continuous improvement.

+ Follow cGMP and other regulatory requirements in a controlled production and warehouse environment.

+ Perform other duties as assigned to support overall operational success.

• Essential Skills
• + At least one year of recent material handling experience.

+ Prior experience with material handling using electric-powered material handling equipment.

+ Three years of experience working with an ERP system.

+ Ability to use RF scanners to document and track materials accurately.

+ Experience working in a cGMP-regulated environment.

+ Comfortable using computer systems with demonstrated data entry skills.

+ Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

+ Solid mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities.

+ Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.

+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-oriented warehouse environment.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Experience with inventory control processes in production or warehouse operations.

+ Familiarity with medical device or clean room production environments.

+ Experience coordinating shipment planning and truck scheduling.

+ Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) in conjunction with ERP systems.

+ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

The facility is air conditioned, providing a comfortable temperature-controlled workspace. You use ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems, RF scanners, and electric-powered material handling equipment such as forklifts to complete daily tasks. The rotating schedule of four days on and three days off, then three days on and four days off, supports continuous operations while offering regular extended breaks. Dress code aligns with clean room and warehouse safety requirements, which may include appropriate protective clothing, safety footwear, and adherence to facility-specific gowning and hygiene protocols.

00 - $23.00/hr.
