Duties Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to ensure proper handling and safety. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately using order picking and packing techniques, ensuring timely delivery. Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and updating inventory management software or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. Load outbound shipments efficiently while adhering to shipping logistics standards and trade compliance regulations. Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves, labeling products, and ensuring proper placement for easy access during order fulfillment. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and data entry tools like AS400 or similar platforms to track inventory movements and update records precisely. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes, improve workflow efficiency, and support international trade regulations when applicable. Skills Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or similar. Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and logistics operations. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities accurately. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, trade compliance tools, and other warehouse equipment safely. Excellent data entry skills combined with customer service orientation to assist internal teams or external clients as needed. Familiarity with warehouse distribution practices, stocking techniques, packaging methods, and order picking processes. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies such as MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems or international trade regulations.
