Summary As a Warehouse Associate, you will be integral to our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient materials handling and inventory management. You will contribute to a safe and productive work environment by keeping the warehouse clean and organized. Your relevant skills in packaging and heavy lifting will further enhance our team's ability to meet operational goals and deliver exceptional service. We need someone who will take responsibility for their role/department and make sure their tasks are completed on a daily basis with minimal supervision. This is not a position where you can sleep-walk through your day, we want someone who moves quickly, pays attention, and wants to do a good job to manage their responsibilities. You will be responsible for basic warehouse cleanup including: Using our baler to bale foam, cleaning and sweeping including basic custodial duties, measuring and putting away scrap materials, and using our shredder to shred foam for customer shipments. As you progress, you will be using a tape measure and packing tape to box and ship our foam cushions. Must have strong attention to detail and be able to complete a list of tasks independently. Must be physically strong, able to lift 75 lbs. independently, and larger items with team assistance. Position includes some truck unloading (20 minutes per week). This is team-oriented warehouse role, you must also be a strong team player to contribute to all aspects of the operation. The idea of "it's not my job" is not an option. Measure, pack and box foam cushions. Tools include packing tape, box cutter, and tape measure. Create pallets for shipping of large orders Must be reliable to be on time and at work on a daily basis. Must work at a consistent and quick pace to maximize production quality and efficiency. Occasional truck unloading with the rest of the production team Potential for more hours, weekend/overtime work, and for advancement to more senior positions for candidates that succeed in this role. Qualifications and Skills Prior manufacturing production and/or warehouse experience a strong plus You must have a strong attention to detail and be the kind of person who can identify and solve problems Must be able to use a tape measure accurately Hard worker, ability to lift some heavy objects, up to 70 lbs. Positive attitude, wants to learn new skills and advance. Reliable and on time Not a person who says "that's not my job", someone who is willing to do what is needed to help the business succeed.
