Responsibilities Operate various warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, stock, and move materials efficiently. Manage inventory control processes using inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring accuracy in stock levels and proper documentation. Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving activities to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time. Conduct manual handling of materials with proper safety protocol adherence, including heavy lifting and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized warehouse workspace by stocking shelves properly and ensuring materials are stored safely according to OSHA standards. Support warehouse distribution efforts by coordinating with logistics teams for timely delivery and shipment schedules. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation, material handling, and overall warehouse safety protocols. Skills Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers. Strong understanding of inventory management practices using software like AS400 or similar systems. Knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, stocking, and packaging procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following OSHA safety standards and using PPE appropriately. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry tasks. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software for accurate stock tracking. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintaining safety protocols during all warehouse activities.
