Duties Safely operate warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and crane or heavy machinery as needed for materials handling and inventory management Load and unload shipments efficiently using appropriate material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately using RF scanners and inventory management software to ensure timely order fulfillment Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock checks and updates within the warehouse management system (WMS) or AS400 platform Conduct shipping and receiving activities, verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper packaging for delivery Drive company vehicles to deliver products safely to customer locations while following all traffic laws and safety regulations Use personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently during all warehouse activities to ensure safety for yourself and colleagues Assist in warehouse organization by stocking shelves, managing inventory levels, and supporting warehouse management in optimizing space utilization Follow safety procedures diligently, including manual handling techniques and heavy lifting protocols, to prevent injuries Support warehouse operations by participating in regular safety training sessions and maintaining compliance with OSHA standards Experience Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, or cranes is highly preferred Previous work in warehouse distribution or logistics environments demonstrating familiarity with inventory control systems and materials handling equipment operation Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar inventory management software is advantageous Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA guidelines related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling practices Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting on warehouse machinery if needed Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, or load & unload processes will help you excel in this role Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail in order fulfillment tasks Excellent organizational skills paired with basic math proficiency for inventory counting and documentation accuracy This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in logistics.
