Imperio Cargo Express is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team. This is a dual-role position involving both professional driving and physical warehouse work. Fluency in Spanish is required The employee will operate a day-cab tractor with a 53-foot dry van trailer, transporting air cargo between our Hialeah warehouse, Miami International Airport, and other locations as needed. When no pickups or deliveries are scheduled, the employee will be expected to work inside the warehouse and assist with all daily warehouse operations. Applicants must understand that this is not a driving-only position.

Driving Responsibilities:

Safely operate a day-cab tractor with a 53-foot dry van trailer Deliver Air Waybill (AWB) shipments to airline cargo facilities Pick up cargo from airports, warehouses, and other locations as required Follow assigned routes, airline schedules, and delivery instructions Properly inspect and secure cargo before transportation Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate pickup, delivery, mileage, and inspection records Communicate with warehouse staff, airline personnel, and management Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures Keep the truck and trailer clean and report maintenance concerns promptly

Warehouse Responsibilities:

When driving assignments are not available, the employee will be required to assist with warehouse duties, including: Loading and unloading trucks, trailers, boxes, and pallets Receiving, moving, sorting, organizing, and staging cargo Preparing cargo and pallets for airport deliveries Using pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment Lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving heavy boxes and packages Assisting with wrapping and securing pallets Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organized Helping with any other warehouse tasks assigned by management

Physical Requirements:

Must be physically capable of performing warehouse work throughout the day Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, and lift repeatedly Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 100 pounds, using assistance or equipment when necessary Ability to work in a physically demanding and hot warehouse environment Ability to safely climb into and out of the tractor and trailer

Required Qualifications:

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Professional tractor-trailer driving experience Experience operating and maneuvering a 53-foot trailer Fluency in Spanish is required Clean and acceptable driving record Valid DOT Medical Card Knowledge of DOT safety regulations Ability to pass all legally required background checks and drug screenings Reliable, punctual, responsible, and safety-conscious Flexible availability based on shipment and airline schedules Willingness and ability to perform both driving and warehouse duties Must be legally authorized to work in the

United States Preferred Qualifications:

Previous air-cargo, freight-forwarding, or airport delivery experience Familiarity with Miami International Airport cargo facilities Experience handling Air Waybills and freight documentation Previous warehouse or cargo-handling experience
