The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting waste materials and other cargo while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. This role requires outdoor work, route driving, and excellent customer service skills to ensure efficient waste management operations for municipal or private clients. Duties Operate a variety of trucks such as box truck flatbeds in compliance with DOT and state transportation regulations Load and unload materials safely using mechanical knowledge of equipment like front-end loaders and roll-off mechanisms Maintain safety protocols during all driving and operational activities, including air brake and hazardous materials regulations Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly Ensure timely delivery of waste or cargo to designated locations while providing excellent customer service Comply with heavy lifting requirements and manual transmission operation as needed during loading/unloading procedures Maintain accurate records of trips, loads, and vehicle inspections in accordance with company policies Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move inventory efficiently. Perform order picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes accurately to meet customer demands. Qualifications and Preferance CDL B / non CDL driver Valid commercial driver's license (CDL B) with appropriate endorsements for air brake, hazardous materials (if applicable), and manual transmission operation Proven experience operating heavy-duty trucks such as flatbeds, or box trucks in municipal or private waste management settings Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for outdoor work environments Strong mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting and vehicle maintenance awareness Excellent defensive driving skills with a clean driving record Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly Experience with route driving and delivery operations in urban or rural settings Commitment to safety protocol adherence and hazard awareness during all phases of work Prior customer service experience preferred for interacting professionally with clients during pickups or deliveries Qualifications and Preferance Warehouse worker Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and order accuracy. Customer service orientation to support internal teams and external clients effectively.
