Warehouse Associate(Part Time) AJC International - 3.9 Honolulu, HI Job Details Part-time 14 hours ago Qualifications Less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation Ocean freight Forklift Order fulfillment receiving Shipping and receiving inventory management Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description We are looking for a motivated Part-Time Warehouse Associate who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment at our Kano Trucking Services facility on Oahu, HI . The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for supporting the shipping and receiving of ocean freight containers and trailers. The ideal candidate is dependable, committed to providing quality service, and comfortable performing manual labor. This is a hands-on role where you will be on your feet throughout your shift, standing and walking on concrete floors in our 77,000-square-foot warehouse. You must also be comfortable working in varying temperatures.
Schedule:
Part-time, 2-3 days per week , with Mondays and Thursdays required .
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload shipping containers with a forklift effectively and safely Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) Perform inventory controls and keep high-quality standards for audits Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization Report any inventory or product discrepancies Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations Other duties may be assigned
Education & Experience:
High School, GED, or equivalent experience Experience receiving LTL freight is required 2 to 5 years of sit-down forklift experience in a Freight Forwarding environment Previous experience loading containers is preferred.
Essential Skills:
Responsible and reliable transportation Excellent time management skills Forklift Certification is preferred Ability to lift heavy objects Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
