About Us We are a full-service electrical contractor providing comprehensive solutions, including design-build, design-assist, value engineering construction, project management, commissioning/startup, and more. Job Summary EMCOR Hyre Electric Co. of Indiana, Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate/driver. This position is located in our Crown Point, IN warehouse. The Warehouse Associate/driver will be responsible for handling materials, supplies and equipment, including tools, operating a forklift, loading, unloading and driving trucks. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Drive 24ft stake bed Have an excellent attitude towards safety and a firm commitment to safety protocols. Process and load orders for delivery to jobsites in a timely manner. Safely load/unload trucks. Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment. Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe and well organized. Have a strong understanding of inventory control. Verify accuracy of delivery documents. Complete documentation that materials received match the shipping tickets and bills of lading. Have the ability to identify, document and resolve discrepancies in goods received and inventory counts. Work well in a team environment. Complete all safety and general training required for the position. Qualifications Job Specifications High School diploma or equivalent. Must possess a Valid Driver's license. CDL preferred. Familiarity with electrical construction tools and materials. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to climb a ladder. Ability to sort and place material on racks or shelves. Ability to work on feet for several hours without rest. Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including extreme heat and cold. Dependable, reliable with good time management skills. Must demonstrate commitment to company values. Maintain a positive work attitude.
