Job Description
General Summary:
Processes all incoming and outgoing goods. Loads and unloads trucks. Handles all paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments. May schedule trucks with truck lines. Make local pickups and deliveries as required. Valid driver's license and good driving record required. Performs other work as directed by the Supervisor.Essential Functions:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damages, defects, or discrepancies Verify accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders or invoices Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and shipping labels Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-up and delivery of shipments Ensure proper storage and handling of incoming and outgoing products Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding shipping and receiving issues Must be alert to damage or rust and document same Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed. Familiar with DOT requirements Acts as the final product verification in the Quality Assurance system Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area Performs other duties as assigned by theSupervisor Expectations:
You will be expected to obtain the tools listed as "Minimum Required Tools" for your classification. Regular attendance and starting on time are essential. Expected to perform at acceptable safety, quality and performance levels and strive for continuous improvement as described in Full Vision's Quality Policy.Physical Requirements:
Occasional Lifting/carrying/moving up to 80 pounds Frequent Lifting/carrying/moving parts up to 50 pounds Requires occasional sitting, bending, squatting, kneeling, and overhead reaching Exposure to noise- continuously Lifting/carrying/moving up to 50 pounds Standing, Twisting, Walking
