Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and skilled individual to join our team as a Sheet Metal Fabricator & Material Handler. This combined role involves working in the sheet metal shop to fabricate ductwork and handling materials in the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of performing physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. Duties/Responsibilities Assist in the fabrication of sheet metal ductwork and components. Receive, inspect, and organize deliveries of plumbing, HVAC, and sheet metal materials. Pull, stage, and prepare material shipments for field crews and projects. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard. Track inventory and report low stock or damaged goods. Support jobsite logistics and material handling. Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safety-first culture. Perform other duties as assigned to support team success. Supervisory Responsibility None Minimum Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of experience in sheet metal fabrication, warehouse operations, or construction (preferred) Required Skills/Abilities Ability to operate fabrication tools and warehouse equipment. Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and safety practices. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience with forklifts, skid steers, or mini excavators is a plus. Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift. Frequently lift up to 75 lbs; occasionally lift over 100 lbs. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and moderate to loud environments. Good hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish colors. Occasionally exposed to mechanical equipment, fumes, and potentially hazardous materials.
