Job Description
About us We're a small e-commerce company in the specialty organization space, working just steps from the Amherst line in Belchertown. We run multiple retail websites, and sell on Amazon, Staples, Wayfair, and more. Our company has a productive but casual environment where a lot of work gets accomplished by a small team. As part of the warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for picking and packing orders in a timely manner, operating warehouse equipment, unloading container shipments, re-stocking inventory, and troubleshooting problems. We value proactive and motivated individuals who don't mind being a part of the solution. Ideal candidates must have a strong work ethic, are reliable, and have a history of working well with others in a team environment. What you'll be doing:
- Picking and packing orders, preparing orders for shipment and ensuring accuracy while minimizing transit damage
- Operating equipment such as transport van, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Using our ERP software to generate pick tickets, fulfillment lists and printing labels
- Unloading containers, ensuring proper inventory is accounted for and unloaded safely
- Monitoring defective and damaged items, as well as handling returns and re-stocking items
- Preparing LTL shipments by palletizing and arranging pickups
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse inventory What we look for:
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly, standing on your feet and/or walking for an 8-hour shift
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Strong attention to detail and track record of accuracy
- Computer skills
- Previous experience picking and packing orders preferred
- Previous experience using a forklift and other warehouse equipment
