Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Loader/Unloader to join our warehouse operations team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods during the loading and unloading processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing materials with precision, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting overall warehouse distribution activities. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are prioritized. Responsibilities Safely load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes. Conduct manual handling of materials, ensuring proper lifting techniques to prevent injury. Operate heavy equipment and material handling tools in accordance with OSHA safety standards. Use RF scanners and basic math skills to accurately track inventory and update records. Assist with order picking, shipping, and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods. Maintain organized warehouse space by stacking pallets, sorting items, and managing storage areas efficiently. Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to minimize risks and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Support inventory management activities by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related roles within a warehouse environment. Familiarity with warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping & receiving, and materials handling. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy equipment. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy lifting and equipment operation in accordance with OSHA standards. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for inventory counting and record keeping. Prior experience in warehouse supervisor roles or overseeing warehouse activities is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. This position is integral to maintaining smooth warehouse operations through diligent handling of goods and adherence to safety practices. LUDLOW Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
