Fairhaven, MA Job Details Full-time $22 - $28 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Mechanic experience Sandblasting Manufacturing Full Job Description General Laborer - Boat Trailer Manufacturing Brownell Boat Trailers Inc. is looking for a dependable, hardworking General Laborer/Mechanic to join our team. This is a hands-on position in a busy boat trailer manufacturing shop. The ideal candidate is motivated, willing to learn, and takes pride in doing quality work. Responsibilities Sandblasting trailer components and parts Painting and preparing parts for finishing Assisting with the assembly of boat trailers - tires, wheels, hydraulics, electrical components Helping welders and mechanics as needed Moving and organizing materials and parts Keeping the shop, work areas, and equipment clean and organized Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, safe work environment Performing other general shop duties as needed Qualifications Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment Willingness to learn new skills Mechanical skills and experience are a plus Previous experience with sandblasting, painting, welding, or mechanical work is a plus, but not required What we're looking for We're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, pays attention to detail, and wants to learn .
