Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Material Handler on the 12pm-8pm shift! In this energetic role, you will be a vital part of our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials through efficient handling, loading, and unloading. Your proactive approach and attention to safety will help us maintain a high standard of warehouse excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and inventory management while contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Load and unload shipments using various material handling equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes Pick and prepare orders accurately using RF scanners and order picker machinery Operate heavy equipment safely following OSHA safety protocols to move materials efficiently within the warehouse Manage inventory by organizing stock, conducting regular cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records Ensure all shipping and receiving processes adhere to safety standards and company policies Assist with manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and proper lifting techniques to prevent injury Support warehouse operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the facility Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling Skilled in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners for order picking and stock control Strong understanding of warehouse operations including manual handling and heavy lifting techniques Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and adherence to safety protocols in a warehouse setting Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for individuals with warehouse experience who are eager to grow their skills in logistics operations.
