Warehouse Associate Placon Corporation - 3.0 West Springfield, MA Job Details Full-time From $18.75 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Reach truck Lifting equipment Customer communication Forklift High school diploma or GED Materials handling Safety standard operating procedures Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Warehouse Associate - Reach Truck Required (Min. 1 Year Experience) Position Overview The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in warehouse operations under the guidance of the Warehouse Specialist and Warehouse Manager/Supervisor. Working in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment , this position is responsible for order picking, receiving, truck loading/unloading, production support, cycle counts, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The role requires adherence to safety, GMP, and AIB guidelines while efficiently handling materials using various equipment. Essential DutiesResponsibilities Warehouse OperationsEquipment Handling Operate forklift equipment , including Reach Trucks (minimum 1 year of experience required), balers, scanners, stretch wrappers, and other material-handling tools. Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer and production orders while ensuring a smooth inbound and outbound flow of materials. Meet department efficiency goals and participate in continuous improvement efforts. Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Oracle software for inventory tracking and transactions. QualityAccuracy Maintain strict quality standards for storage, receiving, and shipping processes. Perform precise inventory transactions to uphold system integrity. Conduct routine maintenance checks on department equipment while tracking KPIs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to meet GMP/AIB requirements. SafetyCommunication Follow all safety policies and procedures and actively participate in company and department safety initiatives. Communicate professionally with customers and team members to ensure accurate information flow. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of Reach Truck experience (required). Must complete forklift certification upon hire. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including: Frequent lifting of 10-50 lbs and occasional lifting over 50 lbs Bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, twisting, and standing for extended periods Handling raw materials, finished goods, pallets, and UPS shipments Ability to understand and communicate effectively to follow safety protocols and operational procedures. Preferred Skills Ability to work independently. Experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
