Warehouse Associate

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This position requires a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers to move products efficiently. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and proper handling of goods. Maintain inventory management systems, including tracking stock levels and conducting regular audits. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse management practices. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space for safety and efficiency. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise. Support distribution center operations by preparing orders for shipment and coordinating with logistics teams. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is essential. Mechanical knowledge is a plus, enabling effective troubleshooting of equipment. Proficiency in inventory management practices, including stock rotation and tracking. Experience with warehouse management systems such as AS400 is advantageous. Ability to operate an order picker or similar equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
