Job Description
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Team member will be responsible for all inventory received into the warehouse and be able to prepare product that is returning to our suppliers with proper transactions in computer and documentation filled out when needed. Team member ensures smooth operations and efficient completion of projects. Communication with other team members should be clear and understanding, computer skills, and basic math are a must to be able to do transactions efficiently and accurately. Standup and sit-down Hilo skills are needed to be safe and efficient. Team member will keep warehouse organized, safe and clean. The ability to follow direction both written and oral form, along with working alone and with their team on projects.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.- Safe operation of pallet jacks, standup, and sit-down forklifts in a production environment.
- Must be able to gauge distances and have good depth perception to safely operate Hilo to prevent damaging product with forks.
- Transport raw materials to proper location keeping Fifo in order.
- Use of part tracker to insure putting away of product is in the correct area.
- Invoicing of goods into inventory correctly to be labeled, and stored properly.
- In the first 6 months the warehouse Level 1 team member must learn to fully receive and put away of goods to warehouse, operating safely, maintain warehouse with keeping product straight, undamaged and clean. Complete all tasks required.
- Develop a basic understanding of the storing of product to maintain organization, looking for ways to save room or improve areas for better use.
- Possess basic computer skills and the ability to perform various warehouse transactions including, invoicing materials, transferring of material, and printing labels.
- Responsible for housekeeping in the area and following the 5S principal.
- Conduct daily safety checks on equipment, including forklift trucks, and specific portions of tractor-trailer and over-the-road.
- Delivery of UPS, FedEx or other goods to proper areas.

- Ability to work with others to complete daily tasks.
- Ability to remain organized.
- Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in the warehouse.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- At least two years of related work experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
