WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
- Order Picking, Invoicing, and Unloading. Globus Global Safety is located in Ramsey, Minnesota and is one of the leading glove & safety wear providers in the United States. Globus Global Safety manufactures and distributes industrial work gloves, high-visibility safety wear, and Bullhead Safety eye-wear; selling through authorized distributors/wholesalers in North, Central and South America.Summary/Objective:
The Warehouse associate deals with general material handling and tracking packages within the warehouse, loading and unloading trailers, shipping and receiving.Essential Functions:
- Pull orders, stage product, or prepare orders for shipment.
- Load or unload trucks making sure that freight processes and safety procedures are followed.
- Help in maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse.
- Restock materials accurately.
Competencies:
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, climb and reach throughout complete shift.
- Attention to detail. Understands this is crucial to the customer experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds cases.
- Ability to work unsupervised to finish a given project.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma preferred.
