Job Description

The role You own everything that happens between a truck backing into our dock and inventory being live and sellable. The company moves home textiles — bedding, bath, and linens — which means high SKU counts, carton-level accuracy, and no tolerance for guesswork on counts or condition. This is a hands-on individual contributor role: you are the receiving function, and you are the checkpoint that keeps our inventory numbers honest. What you'll do Receive and verify inbound freight and container shipments against purchase orders — piece counts, SKU accuracy, damage, and shortages documented the same day Enter and reconcile receipts in our WMS/ERP so on-hand quantities are accurate and sellable inventory goes live fast Own the discrepancy process: flag shortages, overages, and damage to purchasing and vendors with clear documentation and photos Organize put away, slotting, and bin locations so pickers can find product without hunting Keep the dock and receiving area safe, clean, and audit-ready What you need 3+ years in warehouse receiving, inventory control, or distribution Working knowledge of a WMS or ERP system — we will train you on our software Genuine attention to detail; you'd rather stop and recount than let a bad number through Comfortable with spreadsheets, scanners, and RF/handheld devices Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and move for full shifts, and operate a manual pallet jack Nice to have Experience with home textiles, soft goods, or another high-SKU consumer category a plus Bilingual English/Spanish a plus Compensation $25.00 hourly, flexible depending on experience, increase eligible after a 90 day trial period.
