Warehouse Receiving Clerk

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment, supporting the order fulfillment process, and ensuring accurate shipping and receiving practices.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the receiving, stocking, and storing of inventory in a warehouse environment
• Load and unload products using a pallet jack or forklift
• Operate a reach truck to retrieve products from shelves
• Conduct inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy
• Manage inventory levels and notify management when levels are low
• Participate in order fulfillment by selecting and packing orders for shipment
• Assist in the maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Utilize company computer systems to manage inventory and track orders
• Perform basic math calculations to verify inventory levels and count quantities
• Comply with shipping and receiving procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Experience with order fulfillment processes
• Proficiency with pallet jacks and reach trucks
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects
• Familiarity with purchasing computer systems
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving practices
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required
