Job Description

Stryten Energy manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints. A Resin Operator is responsible for the safe and efficiency operation of extruding machines producing reprocessed material for molded product in line with quantity and quality standards set by company specifications. Also responsible for storing and procuring material to be extruded, storing reprocessed material in proper locations, and maintaining a sufficient supply of gaylords, pallets, plastic bags and other necessary production-related material. Performs other related tasks as required. Additionally follows all safety rules, wears all required personal protective equipment and keeps work areas clean. Starting pay rate is $22.36 per hour plus $.50 shift differential for 3rd shift 1st shift position: Monday
  • Friday, 7am
  • 3pm and 3rd shift position available: Sunday
  • Thursday, 11pm
  • 7am To protect your health, you will be required to wear a respirator which requires you to be clean shaven.
Operate extruding machine Remove reprocessed material for molded product Act as Relief Operator when required Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned Complete required paperwork Supply chips and regrinds to all extruders Unload chip deliveries via skid steer into holding bins in a timely manner. Store and procure material to be extruded Store reprocessed material in proper locations Maintain a sufficient supply of gaylords, pallets, plastic bags and other necessary production-related material Work on special projects as required Follow all safety requirements Operate forklift and pallet jack Achieve forklift certification Achieve Skid steer certification Perform Quality Auditor duties as trained Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment including completing a fit test for a respirator. (Following and maintaining facial hair guidelines) High School Diploma or GED equivalent. General verbal, written and math skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to stand up twelve (12) hours a day. Self-motivated. Successfully complete a Forklift Driver Training Program. Must be able to bend, push, pull and twist to move gaylords of material, chips, and repro to various workstations. Must be able to shovel, sweep, or otherwise move material and equipment as needed. Detailed understanding of Extruding Machine Operation. Must be able to drive forklift and/or skid steer as needed throughout the day. Must be able to work outside in the elements as needed throughout the year.
