Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate and become the backbone of our efficient warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping logistics. Your proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, logistics, and distribution processes, all while contributing to a fast-paced and rewarding workplace. Key Responsibilities Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently. Receive, inspect, unpack, verify, and document incoming shipments. Compare packing lists with company purchase orders to verify that all products and quantities are accurate. Organize and store incoming shipments for easy retrieval and distribution. Assemble, package, address, and ship outgoing orders, including coordinating UPS shipments. Scan, sort, and process incoming and outgoing inventory. Accurately count both small and large quantities of products. Accurately enter information in software system. Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with restocking floor inventory. Retrieve and replace production totes as needed. Keep the floor stock of drums current and assist with replenishing inventory. Safely operate a forklift, picker, and Parrot Beak to move drums and large reels of wire. Manage the shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies. Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. Communicate and work professionally with delivery drivers and other departments. Assist with deliveries on occasion, when needed. Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating practices. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, or inventory experience preferred. Forklift experience and or certification preferred. Computer and/or tablet knowledge is required. Ability to safely operate a Parrot Beak for moving drums and large reels of wire. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to accurately count and verify inventory. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Professional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with drivers, coworkers, and other departments. Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
