Job Description
Overview Buckeye Electrical Products is seeking a full time Assembler Associate that would be responsible for the accurate and efficient assembly of wire harnesses according to established specifications and quality standards. This position requires close attention to detail, the ability to read and follow assembly instructions, careful handling of small components and wires. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently, performing repetitive hand and finger movement for an extended period of time, and frequently bending and standing. Duties and Responsibilities Assemble components and products accurately following detailed technical drawings and manufacturing specifications Gather and organize the individual wires, circuits, connectors, and components required for each order. Verify circuit numbers on individual wires and match them to the appropriate locations on the assembly table. Insert and connect wires into the correct connectors according to assembly specifications. Assemble wire harnesses according to table layouts, work instructions, and established specifications. Apply tape, loom, labels, and protective caps in the correct locations and according to company standards. Wrap and secure completed harnesses using zip ties and other required materials. Interpret production documents such as work orders, assembly instructions, and quality checklists to ensure precision Carefully read and follow detailed instructions, including fine print and technical information. Work accurately with small parts and components. Set up the assembly table with all required connectors, wires, tools, and materials before beginning an order. Inspect completed work for proper assembly, placement, and overall quality before sending it to inspection. Inputting data through inventory systems with a tablet. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and established production practices. Maintain required quality and productivity standards. Work independently while remaining aware of safety, quality, and production requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions along with verbal instructions. Ability to accurately identify numbers, letters, wire markings, and small components. Comfortable working with small parts and performing repetitive assembly tasks. Computer or tablet knowledge is preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to remain focused and accurate while performing repetitive tasks. Ability to safely perform all assigned job duties. Previous manufacturing, assembly, electrical, or wire harness experience is preferred but not required. Quality-focused. Comfortable working independently Ability to push-pull carts, perform repetitive hand and finger actions, reading small print and detail on parts or instructions, and continuous bending and standing for up to 8 hours per day.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per weekBenefits:
