Job Description

Fenix Parts is one of the nations leading recyclers and resellers of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) automotive products. The Fenix companies have been in business more than 25 years and currently operate from 28 locations throughout the U.S. Our primary business is auto recycling, which is the recovery and resale of OEM parts, components and systems reclaimed from damaged, totaled or low value vehicles. Job Snapshot:
Will be responsible for supporting operations by moving vehicles and equipment throughout yard, monitoring lot inventory and vehicle check-in, and responding to production, warehousing, and transportation needs Unloading haulers and staging cars for inventory department Supporting with dismantling by bringing un-processed cars to dismantlers and placing vehicles back in the yard Crushing vehicles that have reached their useful life Loading scrap haulers with crushed cars that are ready for final disposal Maintaining inventory locations and integrity of vehicles Assisting locations with warehouse cleanup and disassembly of vehicles as needed Health benefit and 401k options
Minimum Requirements:
Automotive background and heavy equipment experience Previous heavy equipment operating, general maintenance and understanding of mechanical equipment Basic computer skills Transitioning military professionals are encouraged to apply! $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Are you willing and able to perform general labor and ground-level yard work throughout the shift in addition to operating equipment? Are you able to lift up to 75 lbs. repeatedly throughout the workday and frequently Do you have experience with basic maintenance and a working understanding of mechanical equipment? Do you have previous automotive, auto recycling, salvage yard, or similar industrial yard experience?
