Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling inventory management, materials handling, and various warehouse tasks. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts. Utilize the warehouse management system for tracking and organizing inventory. Perform picking and packing of orders with precision to ensure timely deliveries. Fabricate and assemble products as needed based on specifications. Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment for moving heavy items. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues. Assist in heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Skills Strong knowledge of inventory management practices. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory. Ability to fabricate products based on guidelines or specifications. Proficient in materials handling techniques to ensure safe transport of goods. Experience in picking and packing processes for order fulfillment. Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise. Valid forklift certification preferred; experience operating forklifts is essential. Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely, with an emphasis on ergonomics. Experience with stock management systems such as AS400 is a plus.
