Receiving, Inventory & Shipping Position Purpose :
The Warehouse Associate supports the safe, accurate, and timely movement of commercial doors, frames, and hardware through the warehouse. This hands-on role helps receive, organize, pick, stage, and ship project materials while protecting product quality and keeping the warehouse ready to support project and delivery schedules. We are seeking someone dependable, willing to learn and interested in building a long-term career with The Door Shop.
Core Responsibilities :
Receive and unload incoming materials; verify quantities, item identification, and condition against receiving documents. Store, label, and organize doors, frames, and hardware by project and assigned warehouse location. Pick, check, and stage materials for deliveries, customer pickups, and preinstallation work. Package and protect materials; assist with truck loading and unloading to prevent damage and support safe handling. Support inventory counts and location accuracy; promptly report shortages, damage, and discrepancies. Maintain clean, organized work areas, clear aisles, and properly stored tools and equipment. Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment only as trained and authorized; follow all safety procedures. Follow daily priorities from the Warehouse Manager and Shipping/Receiving Lead; communicate issues and assist other warehouse functions as needed.

Qualifications :
Dependable, detail-oriented, team-focused, and willing to learn. Able to follow written instructions and use basic inventory tools. Warehouse, material-handling, or building-materials experience preferred; door, frame, and hardware knowledge is a plus. Ability to perform active warehouse work, including standing, walking, bending, and material handling, with or without reasonable accommodation.

$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
