Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Load, unload, and move goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts. Deliver goods to customers' locations using route driving skills, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs. Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, stock organization, and maintaining a clean workspace. Load and unload shipments efficiently while practicing safe lifting practices for heavy or bulky items. Use mobile devices or delivery apps to navigate routes, confirm deliveries, and communicate with dispatch or team members. Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing questions or concerns promptly. Qualifications Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or appropriate licensing for box truck operation; experience with manual transmission is a plus. Prior delivery driver experience, especially with van or courier services, demonstrating safe driving habits and route planning skills. Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while maintaining efficiency. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate load & unload processes. Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination.
