$18/hour Full-Time | Entry-Level DT Electric is looking for a reliable, motivated Material Handler / Shop Helper to support our electricians and keep our service operation running smoothly. This is an entry-level position and a great opportunity for someone interested in getting into the electrical trade. No electrical experience is required. We're looking for someone who works hard, stays organized, takes initiative, and wants an opportunity to learn and grow. What You'll Be Doing Stock and organize electrical materials at our shop Pull and prepare materials for electricians before jobs Restock service vans and keep inventory organized Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to electricians in the field Pick up materials from electrical supply houses Load, unload, and transport trailers and equipment Help keep the shop, warehouse, and material areas clean and organized Track commonly used materials and help keep inventory stocked Perform occasional physical field work, including hand digging/trenching and helping electricians as needed Help reduce unnecessary supply-house trips and downtime for our electricians Assist with other shop and field-support tasks as needed What We're Looking For Dependable and on time Valid driver's license with a good driving record Must be comfortable driving a truck and backing up a trailer Able to lift and move electrical materials and equipment Comfortable performing physical work, including occasional digging/trenching Organized and able to follow instructions Comfortable driving throughout the Portland metro area Willing to work hard and stay productive without constant supervision Positive attitude and willing to help wherever needed Interest in the electrical trade is a plus Why DT Electric?
