Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator/Material Handler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various industrial machinery, handling materials efficiently, and ensuring production runs smoothly and safely. Responsibilities Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment including automatic band saws milling machines, and adherence to safety standards. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to set up and execute machining tasks accurately. Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure equipment operates efficiently. Handle materials using forklifts and other tools to load, unload, and transport raw materials and finished products within the facility. Measure parts using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators Read and interpret shop math, technical drawings, and fabrication instructions to ensure quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Assist in packaging finished goods and preparing products for shipment while maintaining safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication instructions. Familiarity with industrial equipment troubleshooting and maintenance procedures. Ability to use precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, micrometers, and gauges for quality assurance. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely within a manufacturing environment is a plus. Knowledge of safety standards in production facilities and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred; familiarity with assembly lines and materials handling is advantageous.
