Material Handler I is responsible for safely moving materials and products throughout the manufacturing facility, supporting production flow, and maintaining organized inventory. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are available where and when needed to keep operations running efficiently.

Essential Functions:

Operate a forklift to safely move materials between departments, yard, and production areas Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and finished goods Stock and organize materials in designated inventory locations Supply production areas with materials to maintain workflow and efficiency Perform basic visual inspections of incoming materials for quality and accuracy Conduct counts and verify inventory against documentation Identify and report equipment issues, material discrepancies, or safety concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) Perform other duties as assigned to support production and warehouse operations

• Identifies basic issues and escalates discrepancies or concerns appropriately Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment Ability to safely operate (or obtain certification to operate) a forklift Basic math skills with the ability to perform counts and simple calculations accurately Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic documentation Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
