Full Job Description Job Title:
Warehouse Associate (Salem, OR) Advanced Tower Components is a steel manufacturer specializing in custom and off the shelf wireless infrastructure products and commercial structural projects. Our customers include wireless carriers, tower owners and general contractors throughout the Western United States. Advanced Tower Components has an immediate need for a highly motivated individual for the Warehouse Associate position at our Salem, OR location. The Warehouse Associate will work closely with the Salem team receiving inventory, picking orders, packing orders and making deliveries.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves and prepare for shipping Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code Assist in counting of physical inventory Sweep, dust and mop; organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of warehouse experience or equivalent 3+ years of forklift experience Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills The ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment subject to specific deadlines that must be met, while verifying the accuracy of own and/or others' work The ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees at all levels within the organization and follow instructions Valid driver's license and clean driving record While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
