Elite Pool and Spa Services is hiring a dependable Seasonal General Laborer to assist with residential pool closings and related outdoor work. No pool-industry experience is required. Hands-on training will be provided while working directly alongside the owner.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with pool closings and cleaning Carrying equipment and supplies Helping move, fold, and handle large, bulky pool covers Keeping tools and work areas organized Working carefully around customers' homes and backyards Work will begin as customer pool closings are scheduled and is expected to continue through the end of October. The amount of available work may increase throughout the season. Work will generally be scheduled two days per week, with the possibility of a third day depending on workload. Scheduled workdays will be communicated in advance whenever possible and may change due to weather or customer needs. Starting pay is $25 per hour. Each scheduled workday includes a minimum of four paid hours, and some days may be up to eight hours. (expect 1-2 closings on scheduled days) Applicants must: Be able to lift at least 50 pounds and help move bulky pool covers Be comfortable performing physical work outdoors in changing and colder weather Be dependable, punctual, friendly, professional, and willing to learn Be comfortable working respectfully in customers' backyards Be able to complete a satisfactory background check Applicants should be able to meet at a designated pickup location in Chester Springs, Downingtown, or Exton. Transportation from the meeting location to customer job sites will be provided. We may be able to accommodate local applicants who do not have reliable transportation, depending on their location and the day's schedule. An end-of-season bonus may be awarded based on good attendance, punctuality, professional conduct, and successful completion of the season's scheduled work. Additional work may also be available in the spring.
