Warwick, RI Job Details Full-time | Contract $18 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Qualifications High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility experience Warehouse experience Materials handling Pallet jack Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Handler (Contract) to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, the Material Handler is responsible for ensuring production lines are supplied with the raw materials and packaging needed to maintain efficient operations throughout the facility. This position will support shipping, receiving, production, and inventory activities within a warehouse/manufacturing environment. Duties Coordinate with supervisors to proactively supply raw materials to machines in the Print Press Department on a daily basis. Coordinate with the Packaging Department to maintain an efficient workflow between Print Press and Shipping. Ensure all production areas receive required materials in a timely manner. Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, account for materials, properly label items, and place them in designated areas. Replenish warehouse satellite locations with raw materials. Return unused raw materials to the warehouse. Perform daily cycle counts of inventory items. Assist Quality Assurance team members as needed. Respond promptly to requests for raw materials and packaging. Load and unload materials from machines, conveyors, and shipping areas. Communicate any issues or changes to appropriate team members. Complete required paperwork accurately and honestly. Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all established safety standards and guidelines. Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred. Experience operating hand jacks preferred | no automated equipment will be operated by temps. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to continuously lift up to 30 lbs (assisted lifts allowed) #CNX100
