Shipping Dock Workers Location:
Hinton, VA 22831
Shifts Available:
First and Second Shifts Job Description:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Shipping Dock Workers to join our team in Hinton, VA. The ideal candidates will be responsible for loading, unloading, and organizing shipments efficiently to ensure smooth operations on the dock. This position offers opportunities on both first and second shifts.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently. Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage. Sort and organize products and materials on the dock. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed (training provided if necessary). Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily shipping and receiving goals. Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse work is a plus. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods. Basic math and organizational skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to work first or second shift schedules. Forklift certification is a plus but not required.

Typically 7:00 AM - 5 PM but varies
Second Shift:
Typically 2:00 PM - 11:30 PM but varies How to
