About Go Powertrain Go Powertrain supplies engines, transmissions, and transfer cases to repair facilities nationwide. We stand behind what we sell with fast, disciplined warranty support. This role exists to keep claims moving, protect margins while keeping our customers happy, and keeping shops informed. What You'll Do Review and adjudicate mechanical warranty claims for powertrain components Work directly with repair facilities to validate diagnostics, labor, and parts pricing Approve or deny claims within authority and warranty guidelines Provide clear, professional explanations to shops and customers Document all claim activity accurately in internal systems Manage a daily queue of pending claims and follow up to resolution Apply warranty policy consistently and flag non-warrantable conditions Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and reduce repeat claims
What We're Looking For Required:
2+ years of automotive mechanical, diagnostics, service writing, or parts experience Strong understanding of automotive systems, repair procedures, labor guides, and parts pricing Professional verbal and written communication skills Comfortable negotiating with repair facilities Strong time management in a high-volume environment Proficient with computers, typing, and warranty/CRM systems Solutions-oriented with strong attention to detail
Preferred:
Warranty or claims experience (OEM or aftermarket) ASE certifications Powertrain or drivability background Experience reviewing repair orders, teardown photos, or failed components Why This Role Works No weekends Stable weekday schedule Clear expectations and defined authority Team environment with growth potential Bottom Line This role is for someone who understands how shops operate and how warranty decisions impact the business. $40,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
