Hours:

4:30pm-3:00am We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Laborer to support the completion of stainless steel tanks and related products. This role is responsible for final inspection, quality control, assembly, finishing, testing, and preparation of products for shipment, also using press machines to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal into precise components. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. This is a temporary opportunity in Darien, WI. General Labor

  • Finishing Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Perform final inspections to ensure products meet company quality standards and customer specifications
  • Identify, document, and report defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming products
  • Verify dimensions, measurements, and component installation accuracy using measuring tools and blueprints
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing and finishing process
  • Clean, polish, grind, and prepare stainless steel products for final delivery
  • Apply protective coatings, sealants, or surface treatments as required
  • Ensure products meet cosmetic and functional quality standards
  • Assemble manufactured components according to blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications
  • Install valves, fittings, hardware, and other tank components
  • Verify proper fit, alignment, and functionality of assembled parts
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Perform final product testing, including leak testing, functionality testing, and durability verification
  • Document testing results and communicate quality concerns to production leadership
  • Ensure all finished products meet operational and safety requirements before shipment
  • Package finished products according to company procedures
  • Apply product identification labels, barcodes, safety labels, and shipping documentation
  • Prepare products for transportation while ensuring protection from damage General Labor
  • Finishing Requirements:
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, fabrication, quality control, or industrial experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
  • Basic math skills, including measuring and verifying dimensions
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to use measuring devices and inspection tools accurately
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand or power tools preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with team assistance when required
  • Ability to handle and move finished products and components safely
  • Manual dexterity required for assembly, inspection, and finishing work
