Overview Join our warehouse team as a Warehouse Machine Operator and become a vital part of our logistics and distribution operations! In this energetic role, you will operate a a Side Loader Forklift and a metal cutting saw to support seamless warehouse distribution. What we are looking to gear up for is adding two more saw operators to work for our first shift from 4am to 12:30pm Monday through Friday. We are looking for individuals that have some experience in either the metals industry or have experience in being able to be trained in operating machinery in general. They must be able to read tape measures, use measuring tool such as calipers and micrometers and able to read instructions. Fork truck experience is going to be a requirement for this position. Duties Proficiently measure and cut metal poles Safely operate equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts (including lift trucks and Hi-Lo), cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners for logistics purposes Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper handling of heavy materials through manual handling techniques and heavy lifting practices Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and OSHA-equivalent safety standards in production and warehouse environments Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying orders, scanning barcodes for logistics accuracy, and preparing items for dispatch or storage Assist with warehouse distribution tasks by organizing materials efficiently and supporting overall warehouse operations with manual handling when necessary Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse material handling equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, forklift trucks (including lift trucks), pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo machinery Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including OSHA regulations related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials with care during loading/unloading activities Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols in all aspects of warehouse operations Join us today to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to efficient logistics solutions!
