Job Description

Overview Berlon Industries, a manufacturer and distributor of buckets and attachments for skid steers, is looking for a Material Handler to become part of our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and organization of materials within our facility. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth shipping, receiving, and inventory processes, supporting our commitment to excellence and safety. Job Type:
Full-time Hours are Monday-Friday 5:00am-2:30pm.
Pay range:
$19-21/hr to start-plus bonus opportunity. Review in 60 days. Duties Safely load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards Use cranes and heavy machinery for lifting and positioning large or bulky materials in designated storage areas Maintain organized storage areas by stacking pallets safely and managing space efficiently Communicate that pieces are being cut and ready to be assembled Monitor inventory levels Assist with the Kanban system Assist Supervisor and Plant Manager with product inventory Experience Hands-on experience operating forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, is essential for maintaining a safe work environment Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order picking and load & unload tasks
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
