Under the direction of the section lead, you'll assemble custom high-speed performance vinyl doors and bug screen door systems according to engineering drawings, work orders, and customer specifications. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with their hands, and takes pride in building high-quality products. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, comfortable using a variety of tools, and able to collaborate with our Engineering team to ensure products are assembled accurately and efficiently.Primary responsibilities:
Assemble custom high-speed vinyl doors and bug screen door systems according to drawings, work orders, and specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and production documentation Install door components including frames, tracks, rollers, hardware, motors, and other mechanical assemblies Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment safely and effectively Verify measurements and ensure products meet customer and engineering specifications Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to resolve assembly questions and support continuous improvement efforts Identify and communicate quality, assembly, or design concerns as they arise Perform quality inspections on completed products to ensure they meet Goff's standards Accurately complete production records and documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting daily production goalsRequirements:
What We're Looking For You don't need prior door manufacturing experience to succeed in this role. We're looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and enjoy building things. Manufacturing, assembly, or production environments Mechanical assembly or equipment installation Automotive, construction, maintenance, agricultural equipment, or related hands-on trades Reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings Using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment Problem-solving and collaborating with cross-functional teams Requirements Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability and willingness to learn new products, assembly techniques, and processes Comfortable working from engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the workday Able to read, write, and communicate in English Able to commute to or relocate to Pewaukee, WI 53072 before start date Apply today!
