Job Description

Job Summary Point Iron Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Office Clerk to support daily operations at our Pewaukee Distribution Center. This position serves as a key link between warehouse operations, customers, suppliers, and transportation providers. The Warehouse Office Clerk is responsible for processing shipping and receiving documentation, maintaining inventory records, coordinating customer orders, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient and accurate warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced distribution environment. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesShipping and Receiving Administration
  • Process shipping and receiving transactions accurately and timely.
  • Prepare and verify packing slips, bills of lading, shipping labels, and delivery documentation.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight with carriers and customers.
  • Track shipments and provide status updates as requested.
  • Maintain shipping records and ensure documentation compliance. Inventory Control Support
  • Enter inventory transactions into the company ERP system.
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records.
  • Generate inventory and operational reports as requested. Customer Service and Communication
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipment schedules, and delivery issues.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and transportation providers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from customers, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Support the sales and operations teams with order-related information. Warehouse Operations Support
  • Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Assist in coordinating special customer requirements and priority shipments.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems. Administrative Support
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence as needed.
  • Monitor office supplies and administrative resources.
  • Support management with various administrative and operational projects. Qualifications
  • Two-year colleges degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse administration, logistics, customer service, or office support preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, inventory management, or warehouse management systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and data-entry accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with warehouse and office personnel. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
  • Occasionally lift office supplies or materials up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in an office located within an active warehouse environment.
Pay:
$24.33 - $29.30 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
