We're searching for a Rewind Cutter Operator to join our team! The Rewind Cutter Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring rewind and cutting equipment to produce finished materials according to customer specifications and production requirements. This position ensures materials are properly cut, rewound, inspected, and prepared for the next stage of production or shipment while maintaining established quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Shift:
Starting rate $18.00 + $1.50/hour shift premium. Work 4-10/hour days: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am (30-minute unpaid break)

WHAT DOES MY WORKDAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE?
Operates standing or sedentary rewind equipment to remove waste and create specific size rolls based on customer specifications. Reads customer jacket to fill customer order. Uses two hands to set up rolls and empty spools for rewinding application. May use foot pedal to operate some pieces of rewind equipment. Places rolls in bags and applies customer labels. Packages rolls for shipment Operates Zebra printer to obtain labels. Qualifications
EMPLOYEES WHO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES
Ability to multi-task. Good eye for product quality and safety. Good attendance and reliable transportation to work.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read and understand job tickets, work orders, measurements, and production specifications. Basic math skills, including measurements and production quantities.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FUNCTIONS
Stamina & Mobility:
Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for the duration of a scheduled shift (8-12 hours). Must be able to frequently bend, reach, crouch, or stoop.
Weight Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally from floor to waist and waist to shoulder.
Manual Dexterity:
Constant repetitive grasping and fine motor manipulation of paper materials and machine components.
Range of Motion:
Frequent twisting of the torso and lifting above shoulder height.
Sensory/Vision:
Must possess tactile/touch sensitivity in hands and digits. Near and far visual acuity, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required for quality control and safe machine operation.
Work Environment:
Ability to perform these functions in a manufacturing environment that may include high noise levels, varying temperatures, and paper dust. Share job details to
