Job Description

Essential Functions/Key Deliverables Operate the wastewater treatment plant making sure that the wastewater parameters are within federal, state, and local requirements. Prepare and replenish working solutions for wastewater treatment, waste management and washer chemicals. Maintain and monitor RO and Soft water Station. Conduct physical inventory of water, washer, and wastewater chemicals. Prepare working solutions for the process, pumping of concentrated chemicals. Maintain and monitor the Coolant Filtration system. Calibration, cleaning, and the ability to check ph-meters and conductivity meters. Responsible for the collection and processing of waste oil from Coolant Filtration system. Responsible for maintaining the GMP and safety of workstation. Responsible for the organization of Wastes Oil, Lacquer/Solvent, Sludge, etc. (ability to drive forklift). Audit and manage washer and Wastewater area. Assist Production by managing all plant waste streams (hazardous and nonhazardous). Control supply water parameters for production process in washer. Maintain, update and train team members to the plant SPCC and spill response plan. Comply with all Health & Safety regulations, rules, procedures, and policies. Comply with all environmental requirements as stipulated in ISO and SQF procedures and guidelines on Health & Safety. Must be able to wear a respirator. Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role. Knowledge/Skills/Experience High School Diploma or GED 2 years of experience in a similar position, manufacturing industry desired Good organizational and communication skills Self motivated Problem Solving/ troubleshooting General maintenance knowledge H&S, ISO, SQF, HACCP, trainings desired If you are a current CANPACK employee, please apply through your Workday account .
